Many times we wondered: What happens at death?
There are those who have some experience having lived when he died in an accident, but were revived by the efforts of medicine. We often hear that the dead are manifested, there are those who talk to them, or even appear.
Is it reasonable to fear death?
Often we face the death: When we have to accompany a relative or friend to say a last farewell, or see a hearse goes after him and a procession of mourners. We wonder: Is there life after death? Perhaps placing a wreath at the tomb, we, you know something that is dead?
A wife, crippled by pain and in tears wondering do you see again?
There are different opinions.
- Some say the dying goes directly to heaven, hell or purgatory.
- Others believe that going to the spirit world, or is reincarnated into a being that is born.
Some people think everything is over.
Others say that the dead know nothing until the day of resurrection.
Who is right? What does God say? What do you say the Bible? In Job 14:14 is the question of many: "If a man die, shall he live again ?..."
THE PROCESS OF LIFE AND DEATH
For the process of dying we see how life originated. "And the Lord God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul" Genesis 2:7.
The human being consists of two elements. First, God took earth materials. We also have a high content of water in our body, and also protein, fat and minerals like phosphorus, iron, magnesium, calcium, etc.. The value of these elements is not more than $ 3 and this is the material value of our body. How little it would were it not that God added to this area, the breath of life! The union of these two elements did they occur a completely new, man.
If we translate a mathematical equation would be: matter (earth) + breath of life = living (living being).
When God created man, he became a living soul (living being), does not say God put a soul and that man has a soul, but the union of matter and the breath of life caused him to be living and therefore man is a soul. When we were baptized 3,000 people were baptized do not say that 3000 spirit, but people.
The Bible shows that the soul dies: "The soul that sins shall die ..." Ezekiel 18:4, 20.
There are several chemicals in combination produce a totally different thing:
There is a poisonous gas, is heavy and yellowish-green: the Chlorine (Cl). This material, attacks the respiratory tract. Another chemical is sodium (Na), which in its pure form, is an alkali metal, soft and very active. Combining these two elements completely different-Sodium-Chlorine and get an essential element in our food: cooking salt. What was poisonous and dangerous, now has preservative properties and is helpful in the constitution of our body. Chlorine + Sodium = salt (sodium chloride) (Cl) + (Na) = (NaCl)
Hydrogen, the lightest gas, combined with oxygen, heavier than air, the ratio of 2 parts Hydrogen and 1 Oxygen is: H2O, water.
The light bulb if you get electricity, produces light by the fluid reaching it. When power is interrupted, turn off the light. The single lamp does not shine and the current one either.
The process of death is the opposite of life.
"And the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it" Ecclesiastes 12:7
"You hide your face, turban ... they die and become dust" Psalms 104:29.
Material (body) - breath of life = death.
As in the case of the lamp, the matter is inert to remove God's life.
IS AWARE THE MAN IN DEATH?
The Bible answers that:
The dead know not anything. "For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know nothing ..." Ecclesiastes 9:5.
Killed your feelings. "Also their love, their hate and their envy have now perished, and never have a part in everything that is done under the sun. Every whatever your hand to do, do it with thy might, for in Sheol [the grave ], where you go, no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, "Ecclesiastes 9:6, 10.
His thoughts perish. "His breath goeth forth, he returneth to the earth on that very day his thoughts perish" Psalm 146:4.
They know nothing, nor of their loved ones. "His sons come to honor, but he did not know, or be humiliated and will not understand it" Job 14:21.
Even praise God. "The dead praise not the Lord, neither any that go down into silence" Psalm 115:17.
"For the grave can not exalt thee, and praise thee death, nor those who descend into the pit can not hope your truth. The living, the living, he shall praise thee as I do today ..." Isaiah 38:18, 19.
COMPARE WHAT IS DEATH?
Jesus compared to the dream: "That said, he later said, Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I'm going to wake you. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, heal. But Jesus spoke of Lazarus' death, and they thought speaking of rest in sleep. Then Jesus told them plainly, Lazarus is dead "John 11:11-14.
The dead sleep, or are unconscious to awaken at the resurrection.
"But man dieth, and is cut down, man will perish, and where is it? As the waters are the sea and the river drains and dries, so man lieth down and riseth not, until Heaven has not awake, nor be raised out of his dream "Job 14:10-12.
Life is like a flower that is cut or the shadow fades. "Man ... out like a flower and is cut off, and flees like a shadow and does not remain" Job 14:1, 2.
Will we see those who have died?
What is the glorious hope of those who die faithful to God?
"Your dead shall live, their corpses will rise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in the dust ... and the earth shall cast out the dead" Isaiah 26:19.
"For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again and so will God bring with Him those who sleep in Him we say to you this word of the Lord, that we which are alive, who remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not those who are asleep. For the Lord himself with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God shall descend from heaven and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive, who are alive and remain shall be caught together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord "1 Thessalonians 4:14-17.
Are you already enjoying eternal life, the faithful of the past who have died?
"And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: God having provided some better thing for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us" Hebrews 11:39-40. The prophet Daniel is written: "And you go to the end, rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of days" Daniel 12:13.
There is a strange contradiction in many who preach a punishment or reward immediately, while they also believe in the resurrection and the Last Judgement. If you got what he deserved now, what will Jesus come to judge the living and the dead? Do we judge what? Have you already received?
THE BIGGEST AND OLDEST Lies seduced millions
God told Adam and Eve that if they disobeyed they would die (Genesis 2:16-17), however, what was the big lie of Satan?
"Then the serpent said unto the woman will not die" Genesis 3:4.
Throughout nearly 6,000 years, Satan has been preaching this lie that was believed by the most varied cultures. The cult of the dead, and existed among the Egyptians, who placed in the tombs of the pharaohs furniture, food and valuable treasures. Also most of the many rituals practiced by indigenous peoples in this regard. But note that today, millions believe that the dead are already enjoying eternal life, or are currently suffering the pains of purgatory or hell, against the clear biblical expressions. Satan continues to preach his big lie "will not die."
God alone has immortality.
"The only hath immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man hath seen nor can see: to whom be honor and power everlasting" 1 Timothy 6:16.
Jesus also wants to give to their children when He comes, transforming our mortal bodies.
"... But we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the blink of an eye, at the last trumpet ... the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal put on immortality ... then the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory "1 Corinthians 15:51-55.
If it says in Romans 2:4-8, 16 who seek immortality, it is because we do not have yet. It should be our greatest wish! for us to be forever with Jesus in eternal life.
CONCLUSION
Death is the opposite of life. When the man dies ceases to exist, being totally unconscious.
However, our great hope is the coming of Jesus. The great reunion with our loved ones believers.
Finally, He will destroy death forever. "He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no death, nor shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, for the former things have passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make new all things. And I said, Write: for these words are faithful and true "Revelation 21:4-5.
Our life is uncertain. Do not know when the Lord calls us to rest. Often our lives hang by a thread!
In the museum Whytby-England-there is a large glass case in which a key can be seemingly suspended in the air. The visitor can not easily be explained how that happens. A strong magnet placed at the top draws, while a nearly invisible retains hair underneath.
Also, our existence is tied to this life, only a thin thread and do not know when to cut. Learn to count our days to bring a heart of wisdom.
